Teenage Thai prospect Saenganan Sithsaithong will headline the next Nakornloung (NKL) card in Bangkok. The once beaten 18 year old bantamweight faces Yuya Nakamura at Workpoint TV Studios on August 10th.

Saenganan (20-1) has incredible experience for a teenager. There were also extenuating circumstances behind his only loss, with Filipino journeyman Edison Berwela coming in several pounds overweight before scoring a surprise sixth round stoppage in January.

He has been handed a tricky looking assignment this month, in a card that will be broadcast live on Workpoint TV. The Thai prospect is facing Nakamura (8-1), a Japanese bantamweight who is riding an eight fight winning streak and has not lost a bout since 2012.

The monthly NKL cards have emerged as a highlight on the boxing calendar in Thailand. Kompayak Por Pramuk’s decision win over Ponsaklek Sithdabnij and Nawaphon Por Chokchai’s stoppage of Amnat Ruenroeng have been standout moments so far this year.
