WBA cruiserweight king, Belgian Ryad Merhy (30-1), will defend the title on March 26 in Ekaterinburg, Russia, against Evgeny Tischchenko (9-1) with RCC and 12Rounds co-promoting the event. 

Tischchenko won Gold in the Rio Olympics 2016, but suffered an upset loss to Thabiso Mchunu last year but has since, according to RCC, changed trainer and his approach to training.

French super welterweight champ Milan Prat (13-1) goes for the vacant IBF Youth title next and fights Ukrainian Bohdan Shtonda (7-0) on February 26 in Nantes..

There are big things expected of the 22-year-old Prat, who stopped Fouad El Massoudi to win the national title and defended it against Mathis Lourenco.

Italian lightweight Gianluca Ceglia (17-3-1) now has French veteran Yvan Mendy (46-5-1) as co-challenger for the vacant EBU title.

The EBU has set February 14 as deadline for purse bids or contracts.

The winner inherits Finn contender Edis Tatli (32-3) as mandatory challenger.

With the coronavirus restrictions eased off or even lifted in some scenarios, some of the postponed fights are back on and one of them is Marten Arsumanjan's defense of the EU middleweight title against Austian Marcos Nader. The fight will now go ahead on April 2 in Vienna.
