Romulo Koasicha has put in a great preparation as he's focused to capture the world featherweight championship of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), which is held by Ukrainian two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vasyl Lomachenko. Their HBO televised fight takes place on November 7 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Koasicha (25-4, 15 KOs) spoke from his native San Luis Potosi about as important duel with Lomachenko (4-1, 2 KOs).

"We've had a little over two months of training. We have worked hard in every way. A part of the training was in the gym of Jose Lopez and now  we are training in the gym at Club Deportivo Potosino," he said.

During camp, they placed a lot of emphasis on speed, finding holes in the southpaw style of Lomachenko and studying hard.

"We are also placing great emphasis on striking the body," the boxer noted. "Lomachenko is a fast handed fighter, so we must improve our speed and not go in there with that disadvantage."

"He is quick in his movements, but when you push him he loses concentration and doesn't fight well, becomes uncomfortable and that's important, not to not let him move around, fight his fight and to press him all the time and not let him think in the ring."

"He has a strong punch and has one or two knockouts in his few fights. When he gets the knockout, it's because his opponent stand right in front of him and are totally exploited. So we will move to avoid being a fixed target. "

"He's a good fighter, but not invincible and we know we have what it takes to win. My promoter (Producciones Sports) did their best to get me this great opportunity and I want to repay that trust with the world title."
