Danny Romero Jr. has just informed Boxingscene.com that he is not serving jail time. Romero Jr. called to inform us that he has taken care of his legal issues involving his recent DWI and as of July 6th he had taken care of what he needed to do in order to rectify the situation.

"After my last fight it has been taken care of , I went to meetings and it has been taken care of, I have never been to sentenced to any jail time." Romero according to reports on other internet sites has been serving a 30 day sentence as of July 14th; the sentence was 90 days with 60 suspended, which after confirming with KRQE's Van Tate, Romero is not serving a jail sentence, but rather a community-custody program which can be served at home.

Romero also informed Boxingscene.com that he is training and still has plans for a September fight.
