Heavyweight prospect Roman Greenberg 18-0 (13 KO’s) stopped journeyman Marcus McGee 12-6 6 (KO’s) in the fourth round in a heavily booed fight. This main event looked like a “walkout” fight as many fans left during the fight. The fans that stayed saw Greenberg and McGee in a very slow paced action less fight. Greenberg was the clear aggressor, but was not impressive as most of his punches missed the mark. McGee was just looking to survive. McGee went down from a hard punch in the fourth round and got up very tentatively. He fell down a few more times in the round. Referee Eddie Cotton saw that McGee’s balance was off and legs were wobbly and stopped the fight.

The Greenberg/McGee fight was promoted by Dibella Entertainment and was held at the Grand Ballroom in the Manhattan Center. The undercard featured 3 undefeated prospects now being jointly promoted by Damon Dash, the Hip Hop Entrepreneur and Lou Dibella. Jaidon Codrington, Andre Berto, and Gary Stark all scored easy TKO victories over there hand picked “opponents”. All three fighters looked impressive over outclassed opposition. I would like to see them against tougher oppositions. Curtis Stevens, also promoted by Dash/Dibella was scratched because a weight discrepancy with his opponent.

In the opening bout, Cruiserweight Sam Elashry 5-3(1 KO) won a unanimous decision over Mark Miller 4-6-1(2 KO’s) in a sloppy six round fight.
