Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez is determined to win his second world crown, and for that reason he returned to training well ahead of his scheduled match with Argentina's Juan Carlos Reveco, for the WBA junior flyweight title, scheduled for October 24 in Tokyo, Japan.

"I'm motivated for that fight, because it is a great opportunity to get my second title," Gonzalez said. “Reveco is a very good fighter and so I have to prepare to be at my best when we fight."

Gonzalez (26-0, 22 KOs) is clear about the importance of this match with Reveco, a talented Argentine fighter with a record of 25-1, with 15 knockouts and defended the WBA junior flyweight belt on a couple of occasions.

Reveco won the crown for the first time against Nethra Sasiprapa in June 2007 but lost it in his second defense against Frenchman Brahim Asloum. He regained the crown in August of last year, and is now ready for a third defense against the "Chocolatito" in a super program in Tokyo.

"I have said Reveco is a fighter who brings out your faults. He is technical, but when two fighters are good, the better one prevails," Gonzalez said. “I have quality and I hope that on the day we face Reveco, I will win this fight and my second title. We are going to get foreign fighters for sparring. I want to get better prepared than I've been for any other fight in the past."
