Filipino contender Roilo Golez (13-7, 5KOs) is ready for what is going to be the biggest opportunity of his boxing career. The 24-year-old Filipino will challenge Mexican veteran Edgar Sosa (43-7, 26KOs) for the WBC's International title at flyweight. Golez is scheduled to arrive in Mexico City on January 2nd. He previously fought in Mexico in October, and was stopped by Sammy Gutierrez in the fifth round of a bout for the vacant WBC silver crown at junior flyweight. Sosa on the other hand just closed his training camp with a great sparring session and declared himself fit and ready for the upcoming defense, which takes place on January 7th.
