Auditorio Centenario, Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico - A left uppercut from "The Pride of Neza" Rodrigo “Gatito” Guerrero (22-5-1, 15KOs),  dropped and stopped rugged Philippine boxer, Jonathan Baat (27-6-3), in the sixth round of a spectacular defense of his WBC International bantamweight Crown.

It had been far from plain sailing up to that point. Baat had come to fight, and both southpaws exchanged some heavy blows, in a slow paced, but action packed thriller.

But after four rounds the announced scores, bruised Rodrigo's pride. Two Judges were scoring it as a draw, while the other had Jonathan ahead. Rodrigo timed the left uppercut perfectly and it caught the incoming Baat, like a baseball strike. Its sheer ramrod power catapulted him back and felled him at first base. The Referee had seen enough and immediately called time to avoid third strike!
