Super bantamweight Jose Antonio Sanchez Romero (12-0-1) headlines a small show at the Ringside Gym in Helsinki (Finland). The show was announced earlier this week and the opponent for Sanchez Romero, a debutant named Kirill Serikov, was announced this (Aug 21) afternoon.

However, given travel restrictions and the ongoing pandemic the promoters can be excused. Serikov is said to be Estonian champ in the amateurs.

Sanchez Romero, from Spain but living in Finland since a few years, is the official challenger for the EU 122 lb title but his fight against co-challenger Jason Cunningham have been postponed twice.

In other action cruiserweight Samuli Karkkainen (12-0-1 and middleweights Nordeen Toure (9-2) and Antti Hietela (1-0) take on opponents from Estonia.

Former EBU super middleweight champ Robin Krasniqi (49-6) is back after more than a year out of the ring. He returns to action tomorrow night on SES'  show in Magdeburg.

Krasniqi is scheduled to take on Czech boxer Stanislav Eschner (14-14-1). Krasniqi lost the title to stablemate Stefan Haertel on a close call. A rematch was announced but the fight never materialized.

Krasniqi also fought Juergen Braehmer and Nathan Cleverly in world title encounters at the light heavyweight limit - but was stopped and then decided to drop down to super middleweight.
