Viennese boxing fans might be disappointed by the outcome of the 12 rounder between Spanish titleholder Roberto Santos and their darling Marcos Nader, but the judges followed them old rules: the challenger has to make the fight - the champ defends his title. The stylish Viennese controlled the fight during the first part with fast jabs, brisk combinations and avoided Santos ramming left, by stepping out of reach in time. The tide turned around at midway, when the sturdy Spaniard started rolling forward like a tank, bloodying Naders nose and scoring now and than with his left.

Nader seemed to run out of gas during the final rounds of the stanza, so the judges saw his efforts not enough to dethrone the man from Valencia who's current score advanced to 18-6-3, while Marcos Nader's figures stand at 16-0-1.

On the undercard, 24 year old Henry Weber (17-1-1) on his way up after loosing to Robert Stieglitz, decisioned Sergej Rozvadovskij (5-1-2) from Litauen on points. Austrian Timy Shala(15-0-0) beat wild swinging Hungarian Attila Baran(10-4-0) after six rounds by unanimous decision and improved to 17-0.

Also on the undercard, Hungarian István Szili ko-ed Francisco Di Fiori in the fourth and German-Armenien Leon Hard finished Slowenian Robert Andrasik after 30 seconds.
