Fringe lightweight contender Roberto Ramirez will square off against Luis Enrique Luna tonight at the Gimnasio Burocratas in Tijuana, Mexico.

The 10-round bout will headline a co-promotion between Paco Presents and In Box Carmen.

Ramirez (21-2-1, 15 knockouts) stopped Luis Lugo in his last bout on July 26 in his hometown of Tijuana. He is unbeaten in his last nine bouts since losing by knockout to Abel Ramos in June of 2013.

The 26-year-old Ramirez’s best win came on June 21 of last year, when he pulled off the upset win by stopping former WBC lightweight titleholder Dejan Zlaticanin. He has stopped four of his last six opponents.

Luna (15-9, 11 KOs), who resides in La Paz, Mexico, was stopped after the fourth round by Juan Garcia in his last bout on Sept. 13 in Mexicali, Mexico. He had won his previous three fights leading up to the Garcia fight.

In featherweight action, Enrique Tinoco will face Manuel David Lugo in a 10-round bout.

Tinoco (18-5-4, 10 KOs) scored the biggest win of his career in his last bout on May 10, stopping unbeaten Jordan Gill after the eighth round in Nottingham, England. The Tijuana resident is unbeaten in his last three bouts since losing to Devin Haney by decision in September of 2017.

Lugo (12-10-2, 7 KOs), who resides in Los Mochis, Mexico, lost by majority decision to Edwin Garcia in his last bout on Aug. 30. The 29-year-old has lost five of his last six bouts.

Fringe bantamweight contender Victor Sandoval, another Tijuana resident, will square off against Andres Garcia in a 10-round bout.

The 22-year-old Sandoval (31-3, 20 KOs), who made his pro debut about a month after his 16th birthday, defeated Manuel Lugo in his last bout on Apr. 6. He has not lost since dropping a split-decision to Maximino Flores in February of 2016, a span of 19 bouts.

Garcia (13-8-2, 5 KOs) was knocked out by contender Alejandro Santiago in his last bout on July 26. The Los Cabos, Mexico resident has lost three of his last four bouts.

Featherweight Jose Luis Castillo (22-3, 16 KOs) of Tijuana will square off against Saul Banos (14-15-2, 7 KOs), who has lost his last seven bouts, in an eight-round fight.

Hard-hitting welterweight Rudy Macedo (10-0, 9 KOs), who is originally from Uruguay and now resides in Novato, California, will face Manuel Amador (5-3-1, 3 KOs) in an eight-round bout.

Junior middleweight Hector Zepeda (17-1, 4 KOs), who also resides in Tijuana and suffered his first loss as a pro on June 21 to Sebastian Fundora, will square off against Juan de Jesus Angulo (20-12, 13 KOs) of Agua Prieto, Mexico in an eight-round bout.

Four more fights will round out the card.
