Osceola Heritage Park Exhibit Hall, Kissimmee, Florida - In the main event of Roc Nation Sports' HBO Latino card, Rafael “Big Bang” Rivera (21-0-2, 14 KOs) kept his undefeated record in place with a ten round split decision victory over former world champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (24-2-5, 19 KOs). The scores were 96-93, 95-94 for Rivera and 98-91 Vazquez.

Rivera went down in the third, but he was able to keep things close by giving as good as he got.

Vazquez, 31-years-old, has not lost three of his last four fights.

In a light heavyweight showdown, Alexander Brand (26-1, 19 KOs) kept a potential big fight in place by winning a ten round split decision over previously unbeaten Medzhid Bektemirov (16-1, 12 KOs). The scores were 98-91, 98-91 for Brand and 95-94 for Bektemirov. Brand went down in the first round.

Last month, Brand was scheduled to face Andre Ward - who was making his debut at light heavyweight on the Saul Alvarez vs. Miguel Cotto HBO Pay-Per-View undercard. Ward withdrew from the bout with a knee injury. With this victory it could Brand in position to face Ward when he returns to action in 2016.
