THEY were sent to the United States (US) to learn more and Reymart Gaballo, Mike Plania, John Vincent Moralde and Harmonito Dela Torre are learning from one of the best in the business.

The four undefeated boxers from the General Santos City-based Sanman Boxing Gym are the main sparring partners of unbeaten Guillermo Rigondeaux.

Last week, the four boxers traded blows with the unbeaten Cuban fighter in a productive sparring sessions.

"Each of them sparred for two rounds with Rigondeaux," said Jim Claude Manangquil, chief executive officer of Sanman Promotions.

"Great experience for them. I'm sure they will learn a lot from a great champion like Rigondeaux," added Manangquil.

Rigondeaux is in the thick of preparation for his gigantic match with fellow unbeaten fighter Moises Flores on June 17 at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rigondeaux (17W-0L-0D, 11KOs) and Flores (25W-0L-0D, 17KOs) will fight for the WBA Super World super bantamweight and IBO World super bantamweight belts.

The four Sanman boxers are training under former Cuban national team trainer Moro Fernandez in Miami, Florida.

After the training, which will last until December, the four boxers will see action in the US for at least two fights each before heading back home.

Dela Torre (19W-0L-0D, 12KOs) is the WBF World super featherweight champion, Gaballo (16W-0L-0D, 14KOs) is the WBC Asia super bantamweight king, Moralde (19W-0L-0D, 10KOs) is the WBC Asia featherweight champion, while Plania (14W-0L-0D, 7KOs) owns WBF International bantamweight title.
