Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada - Former WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo "El Chacal" Rigondeaux (15-0, 10KOs) is finally returning to the ring on Saturday when he faces Drian Francisco on the HBO Pay-Per-View undercard to the middleweight showdown between Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez.

The upcoming fight will be Rigondeaux's first of 2015 and he said he relishes the opportunity to fight on another big card.

"I feel good to be returning to the ring. The fans have supported me. I've been on big cards like Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito and this is another big card and I will do what I always do. I'm a big name as well and I'm coming to win," said Rigondeaux.

It's no secret that the two-time Olympic gold medalist has had trouble luring the division's elite into the ring with him with the exception of former champion Nonito Donaire.

Rigondeaux offered his own explanation as to why the division's top contenders won't face him.

"They are cowards. They are 100 [cowards] and they won't get in the ring with a stallion like me," Rigondeaux told BoxingScene.com.
