Former interim-world champion Reymart Gaballo (25-1) will see action on June 17, clashing with Fellow Filipino warrior Michael Bravo (14-2) for the WBO oriental bantamweight title. The fight will be held at the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque. It will be a stay-busy fight for the Sanman Stable mainstay.

Gaballo is excited to execute the new techniques taught to him by his new coach Nonito “Dodong” Donaire Sr.

“I can’t wait to step in the ring again. I have learned a lot of new stuff from my new coach Dodong Donaire. I hope to test them on my opponent. This is not the kind of fight that should be taken lightly. I have prepared well for this and hopefully be on the way to new bigger fights. I want to thank Sanman boxing, Sean Gibbons and Moros gym," Gaballo stated.

The Sanman CEO intends to keep his ward busy and climb up in the ranks again.

“Gaballo still has a lot of potential. We want to keep him busy and eye bigger fights again in the near future," Manangquil stated.

IN OTHER NEWS: Former world title challenger Jayson Mama improved his record to W19-L1 after dominating former world title contender Robert Paradero (18-5).

Both fighters went to war mode from the opening bell bombarding each other with heavy shots. Mama was more calculated and lander the cleaner and more accurate shots.

Paradero tried going offensive but was caught by a good counter in the second round and kissed the canvass. Mama kept his cool and continued schooling Paradero thus earning the nod of all judges hence the unanimous decision victory.

In the co-featured bout, Adam Diu Abdulhamid won an easy decision victory over veteran Jose Ocampo. The lanky Abdulhamid showed experience and confidence as he battered his opponentduring the whole fight despite Ocampo refusing to go down.

In the curtain raiser, Kenny Demecillo also dominated as he schooled Kim Lindog and took home another unanimous decision victory.
