We are two weeks away from Aztec Empire Promotions professional boxing event “The New Generation / La Nueva Generacion”. September 17, 2009, at El Portal Club in southeast Houston, Texas, will be the site for the inaugural show. Squaring up in the main event for the Texas Super Featherweight Title is unbeaten boxer-puncher Eleazar “Pelon” Renteria going up against power punching Angel Rodriguez. This matchup promises to be an exciting fight between two Houston cross-town rivals.

The co-main event and undercard will feature many local favorites, dangerous Angel “El Gallo” Herrera, Nelson Ramos, Uko Isidien, Rodrigo Villarreal, Jonathan Jones, pro debut Rafael “El Pipiripau” Munoz and Rosenberg’s Fernando Castaneda, these local and area young up-and-coming prospects are sure to provide a night of explosive boxing.
