The Retired Boxers Foundation would like to thank nearly 400 people for signing our petition to add a $1 surcharge on tickets sold for professional boxing shows.   We know that we have the most passionate people already on the petition, but we need to add those who are huge boxing fans, but need a nudge!

This petition is the basis for a major campaign to create a Professional Boxers Pension Plan in every state and sovereign nation in the United States, and someday, world wide.  This will take an act of Congress and they won't do anything unless they think there is enough support, which is why we need your signature.

We are very pleased to announce the support of Robert Fellmuth, the Director of the Center for Public Interest Law, and the man responsible for drafting the California Professional Boxers Pension Plan.  Robert has expressed an interest in pursuing this campaign on a national level and he has offered his expertise in making this Pro Boxers Pension a reality.  The Pension would be independent of the Commissions and under the Administration of a professional Pension Administration firm, who would collect the fees, manage the pension, invest the money and distribute the pension funds.  Again, the Retired Boxers Foundation is profoundly in support of creating this pension modeled on the California Plan, but improving the outcome by managing the pension the proper way--by experts in the pension field rather than experts in boxing.

Please take the time to sign the pension at:  http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/help-create-a-professional-boxers-pension-plan
