Raven Chapman has mapped out her plans for 2024 - culminating in a showdown with featherweight queen Amanda Serrano.

Fresh from her victory over Lucie Sedlackova, she hopes to pick up where she left off in the new year. According to her promoter Frank Warren, a world title opportunity beckons for Chapman.

With Serrano recently deciding to give up the WBC belt, Skye Nicolson and Sarah Mahfoud have been ordered to fight for the vacant strap. That has prompted Nicolson to accuse Serrano of avoiding a fight with her because she knows she could lose.

Chapman spent time in Serrano's company a couple of years ago and was quick to dismiss such an idea as nonsense.

"Amanda isn't ducking anybody - she wants the big fights," Chapman told BoxingScene.com.

"From the impression I get, she's not that kind of person. She has made it clear that she will fight anyone. We've seen that with her going up in weight to fight Katie Taylor.

"I think for someone with less than 10 fights to say something like that is a bit of a kick in the teeth for Amanda really."

Chapman and Nicolson have history. The pair have been on a collision course since the latter turned professional in 2022. They've even shared the ring together on a few occasions in sparring.

Both fighters are also still unbeaten - making an inevitable clash even more marketable. It's a fact which isn't lost on the current First Lady of Queensberry.

"I know her, I wouldn't say we're friends, but I know her," she continued.

"We're both very aware that we're probably going to fight each other. Obviously I'm highly ranked in the WBC. There's no reason why I can't fight the winner of her fight with Sarah next.

"Being on home soil would be good. I'm sure Skye would like it here as well. But you never know."

As far as dream fights go, though, it doesn't get much better than Serrano.

"For me it would be the fight with Amanda," Chapman admitted.

"I think that would be such a good fight because of our styles. Especially if we got it over 12x3s. I think it would be really exciting.

"I don't really idolize anyone to be honest but obviously she's a legend because of what she's achieved in the sport so I want to test myself against the best."
