This Saturday, June 30th, El Muneco and Ghost Town Promotions present “Warriors Conquest” at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont, Colorado, thirty miles northwest of Denver. In the main event, hometown favorite Raul “El Chino” Carrillo (9-1, 6 KOs) will face Josh “Pittbull” Torres (7-1-1, 4 KOs) of Albuquerque in a six-round welterweight contest.

Ghost Town Promotions owner, Raul Utajara, is happy to bring boxing to the local fans and he is certainly looking forward to this event.

“This is a big show and we’re looking to do more shows here. We have a huge following here and it feels like the right time now. I would like to have more shows in northern Colorado. We are already in the beginning stages of doing another event, probably in late August or early September.”

“We’re going to have some big matches on Saturday along with the main event. The whole card is looking good. Some good fighters with a lot of amateur back round, and they’re going to show the people some good fights.”

“Carrillo is coming off his first loss which was against Robert Frankel. Carrillo dropped down to junior welterweight for that fight even though he’s used to fighting at welterweight. It was a big step up in opposition for him.”

“Now he’s going to face another good prospect in Torres. It’s a good welterweight clash. Making good match-ups is what boxing is all about.”

Presented by El Muneco and Ghost Town Promotions, advance tickets for Warriors Conquest, priced at $45, $35 and $25 can be purchased by calling (720) 296-6176. VIP Tables are also available.
