CHICAGO, IL - Sensational junior welterweight prospect Ramiro Carrillo will make his long awaited return to the ring at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion on Friday, October 22nd at WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 13, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions.

Sporting a record of 2-0-0 (1KO), the 19 year old Carrillo will be featured in a four round undercard tilt. 

“Ramiro Carrillo is part of a new breed of young, aggressive, local stars who put on very entertaining fights. Along with Adrian Granados, Jaime Herrera and Antonio Avila, we’ve gotten outstanding feedback about their fights and are very proud to continue to bring back outstanding prospects such as Carrillo and Herrera on October 22nd at the UIC Pavilion” said Pesoli.

In Carrillo’s last appearance on August 21, 2009, Carrillo was able to overcome a second round knockdown at the hands of Jamar Hampton to win an action packed four round unanimous decision.

In his pro debut on April 24, 2009, the two-time Chicago Golden Gloves champion and three-time Junior National Golden Gloves champion destroyed Steve Hall with a brutal first round knockout.

Continued Pesoli, “Both of Ramiro’s starts were tremendous action fights and fans can expect more of that from him on October 22nd.”

The main event at WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 13 features the highly regarded, Chicago fan favorite Andrzej “The Polish Prince” Fonfara, 14-2-0 (5KO’s), battling Tuscaloosa, Alabama native, Anthony Doughty, 9-1-0 (8KO’s) in an eight round light heavyweight battle.

Also featured in separate bouts at WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 13 will be terrific welterweight prospect Jaime Herrera, 4-0-0 (3KO’s), fast rising junior middleweight prospect Donatas Bondarevas, 9-1-1 (3KO’s), hard hitting heavyweight David Latoria, 5-0-0 (3KO’s) and undefeated junior welterweight newcomer Genaro Mendez, 2-0-0 (1KO).
