Former champion Rafael Marquez (41-7, 37KOs) is suffering from a stomach infection and there are now doubts about whether or not the Mexican boxer can proceed with his scheduled fight against Puerto Rico's Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (21-2-1, 18KOs). The fight is scheduled for October 6th, for the WBO Iternational super bantamweight crown, in Bayamon.

Later today, Rafael is going to visit the doctor to determine if he is capable of moving forward. The fight was previously scheduled in August, and postponed after Marquez suffered a bad hand injury.
