Trainer Daniel Zaragoza, the former world champion who is now preparing to Rafael Marquez, a former two-division beltholder, at the Otomi Ceremonial Center - wants his boxer to be in the shape possible for the fight with WBC super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka, which takes place on October 1 in Las Vegas. Zaragoza was not pleased with the recent physical condition of Marquez.

"Although we just knocked out Rafael Eduardo Becerril in Cancun in six rounds, I wasn't really satisfied with his physical condition. That's why we are going to focus for five or six weeks in the Otomi. That alone can bring Rafael to his best," said Daniel Zaragoza.

Zaragoza added that training will start next Monday in the gymnasium of Coyoacan, with morning runs in the area. And as soon as possible they will head to Otomi.
