Errol Spence can work his magic, both in and out of the ring.

Unbeaten Quinton Randall, a sparring partner of Spence, will face Willie Jones tonight at the Chelsea Ballroom inside The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada. The eight-round bout will be part of preliminary action on the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) card.

The Showtime Championship Boxing telecast begins at 10:00 p.m. ET/ 7:00 p.m. PT.

Randall (12-0-1, 3 knockouts) fought four weeks ago on June 17, dropping once-beaten Terry Chatwood twice en route to a knockout win in Houston, not far from his home in Katy. In his previous fight on September 29, Randall defeated Luis Hernandez Ramos by majority decision.

Tonight will mark the fourth time within a year Randall has fought.

The 32-year-old has been used as a sparring partner for unified world welterweight titleholder Errol Spence. After a recent sparring session, Spence made a few phone calls to see if Randall could fight on an upcoming PBC fight card. Ironically, Spence is trained by Derrick James, who also trains lightweight contender Frank Martin, who will be in the main event on tonight’s Showtime telecast.

“Two days into (the) Errol camp, (and Errol) made the call to put Quinton on Frank’s card,” manager Derek Collinsworth told BoxingScene Friday. “Who knows what may be up Errol’s sleeve.

“But we plan to make another very solid puncher look average. Willie can fight, same as most of Quinton’s resume. No one gives us favors as far as opponents.”

Willie Jones (9-2, 6 KOs), who resides in Burlington, North Carolina, scored a first round knockout win over previously-unbeaten Derrick Jackson in his last bout on February 25. Jones does have wins over two unbeaten fighters.

The 31-year-old has won his last two fights, both by knockout, since a split-decision loss to Lukas Santamaria in October 2019.
