Welterweight prospect Qudratillo Abduqaxorov will face fringe contender Viktor Plotnykov on February 10, manager Vikram Swapragasam told Boxingscene.com over the weekend.

The 12 round bout will take place at the Far East Square in Singapore.

Abduqaxorov (9-0, 6 KOs) is considered a solid prospect who hails from Qorgontepa, Uzbekistan. The 23-year-old is coming off a fifth round knockout win over Romeo Jakosalem on January 7.

His most impressive win to date occurred on July 23, when he won a 12 round unanimous decision over Adones Cabalquinto of the Philippines.

The 39-year-old Plotnykov (34-4, 16 KOs) is 2-2 in his last four bouts, with those losses coming against Jeff Horn and Ahmed El Mousaoui.

Abduqaxorov is scheduled to fight welterweight contender Charles Manyuchi in Singapore on March 25. Manyuchi pulled off a major upset on May 6 when he won a decisive 12 round decision over contender Dmitry Mikhaylenko.
