Qais Ashfaq will fight for his first title when he returns to the ring next month.

The Leeds man is undefeated in seven fights and has three quick finishes.

Ashfaq has been out of the ring since beating former English super-bantamweight champion Sean Davis on points in Liverpool back in August.

But the 26-year-old, who won a Commonwealth Games silver medal in Glasgow back in 2014, will take on Joe Ham at Manchester Arena in a few weeks’ time.

The pair will vie for the vacant WBA Continental super-bantamweight title, exclusively live on Sky Sports in the UK and DAZN Stateside, on November 2.

Ham, 28, is 16-1 with six early and has two wins since losing against Tyrone McCullagh for the vacant Celtic super-bantamweight title in June 2018.

He is set to warm-up for his fight with Ashfaq on October 5 at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley, Scotland.

Katie Taylor is stepping up to super-lightweight when she takes on Christina Linardatou atop the card in Manchester for the WBO female world title.

Joshua Buatsi faces former WBO world light-heavyweight title challenger Blake Caparello in an official eliminator for the WBA world title, Felix Cash defends his Commonwealth middleweight title against Jack Cullen in a rescheduled showdown and Anthony Crolla will fight for the final time.

Terri Harper will make the first defence of her IBO world super-featherweight title against Viviane Obenauf in what will be her first fight under the promotional banner of Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Sport, while there is action scheduled for Gamal Yafai and Nathan Farrell, who is 2-0 since turning professional back in August.

Further additions to the card will be revealed in due course.
