VIP Promotions boss Steve Wood has confirmed that Manchester’s Prince Arron, 21-3-1 (4), is set to make the maiden defence of his 154lb British belt against Lancashire rival Brian ‘The Lion’ Rose at Wigan’s Robin Park Centre on December 3rd.  Arron won the belt in May with a bruising twelfth round TKO over Sam Webb, he recently told me that Webb should have been pulled out after five or six sessions and that the win was the sweetest of his career as well as a sign of things to come.

The 6’ 3’’ Droylsden-based boxer feels that winning the title has pushed him on, the pre-Christmas meeting with Rose, 17-1-1 (5), will test this claim as Rose is in good form - Brian is on a three fight winning steak since his shocking KO loss to Max Maxwell last and has long coveted the Lonsdale title.

Frank Maloney and VIP Promotions will co-promote the Sky televised show.
