Risum Boxing and Larsen Boxing today announced a new cooperation that will see super featherweight Kim ”Golden Boy” Poulsen (6-1, 1 KO) and super middleweight Fawaz Nasir (11-2, 6 KOs) enter the ring for six round bouts against opponents TBA on February 9th at the Mediacentre in Aabybro, Denmark. The show will be aired live by Danish TV channel DK4.

While Poulsen is very much still in a learning process and will be looking to gain more experience before being tested at deeper waters, Nasir is aiming at another title-opportunity after two failed attempts in 2007, and he hopes the bout in Aabybro will serve as his return to winning ways and a step towards bigger things.

Nasir has fought several times on Danish TV, but for Poulsen it will be his TV debut in Denmark as a professional, and he is looking forward to the opportunity to shine, saying:

“I think a lot of people will be surprised when they see the style of boxing I have acquired since turning professional. It is very different from how I boxed as an amateur, and I am looking forward to showing off the great work my trainer (Brian Mathiasen) has done with me over the last 18 months. And of course it will also be nice to box in Denmark again, even though I love boxing abroad”, finishes Poulsen, who made his debut in Denmark in September 2006 but has since boxed six times outside his home country.
