Las Vegas based strength and conditioning coach Larry Wade has been very impressed with Caleb Plant’s most recent training camp. Plant (19-0) takes on Vincent Feigenbutz (31-2) on Saturday night in Nashville, Tennessee in a Premier Boxing Champions on Fox main event.

This will be Plant’s second defense of his IBF super middleweight title. Even though his opponent isn’t well known in the United States, Wade said that Plant is taking him very seriously.

"This camp has gone great. The thing is they always say things start with the captain of the ship and that would be Caleb. Caleb comes into this fight with the same intensity and mind set that he had for any other fight.  He doesn't look at this guy any lighter or take him easy. He trained super hard for this fight as if the guy walking into the door had a title of his own. You can guarantee with that type of mindset that Caleb is going to go in the ring and put on the show that he knows he can," Wade recently told BoxingScene.com.

Even though he is already champion, Wade said that Plant is actually working harder now than ever before.

As Wade stated, the proof can be seen in the transformation of Plant’s body now versus his previous fights.

"I think it has elevated each time actually. But that was his way even before he got a belt. Each camp was harder and each camp he elevated the requirements and if you look at his body now he has put on a little bit more muscle mass for this fight as opposed to the last 2-3 fights and that is expected. He has been developing over years and he is stronger and than he ever has been," explained Wade.

As for the outcome do the fight, Wade predicts the fight will go however Plant dictates. In short, if he wants a knockout he will get one or if he wants to win a shutout on the scorecards then he will make that happen.

"The kid is stronger now than he was then. He is a stronger fighter and he is definitely a bigger fighter at this point. He has matured in the sport. I think it comes down to game plan. Whatever game plan we decide to walk into the ring with, whether or not we see this guy get put down and or if it becomes a boxing match and not get touched. It really is up to him because he can outbox you and put down," Wade explained.
