Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda, the world flyweight champion of the WBO, is hungry to win his next fight and believes much bigger things will follow if he does. He says success has not gone to his head and nothing will prevent him from beating former champion Brian Viloria on July 16th in Hawaii. Miranda is training at the same gym where he started his career in Monterrey.

"I'm still hungry to retain my title, and I'm not going to allow anyone to snatch it from me. I will remain as champion. Besides, I have a thorn in my side from the past in Thailand and Johannesburg (two fights in 2009, against Pongsaklek Wonjongkam and Moruti Mthalane, respectively). They were champions and now I am the champion. I want to rematch both of them to unify the titles in a neutral location," Pingo told Ricardo Velazquez.
