Top Rank's Lightweight World Title contender Jose "Josesito" Felix Jr. and unbeaten prospect Arnold Barbosa Jr. (9-0, 3 KO’s), from Los Angeles weigh in this afternoon at the Marriott Hotel in Burbank California. 

Felix weighed in at 135.2 and will face Ricky Sismundo from Japan and will be the main event Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Marriott Hotel Events center in Burbank, California.  

Barboza who weighed in at 143.2 will go toe to toe against a tough rugged fighter in Robbie Cannon In the Co-main event.  Also featured on the under card  are Top Ranks very own, Daniel Valdivia (9-0 3 KO's) weighed in at 155 as he goes 8 rounds in a middleweight scrap against Kenneth Council.  Egor Mekhontsev (10-0 7 KO's)  also will see some action from Burbank, as he faces Felipe Romero in a light Heavyweight battle.  Mekhontsev weighed in at 175.2.

“There were no festivities for me. I sacrificed myself training during the Christmas season and I know that the results will be seen this Saturday in the ring,” assured Felix Jr. “We made some changes in my physical preparation for this fight. I did less chest work and we focused more on strengthening the legs. What we are seeking with this changes is more speed and to be able to throw longer combinations of punches,” revealed the young Aztec fighter.

‘Josesito’ has achieved five wins in a row, with three of those victories by way of knockout, since the first and only defeat of his career, when he fell on April 2014 in a close decision against Costa Rica’s Bryan Vazquez.

Sismundo also enters this fight against Félix Jr. riding a winning streak. The Filipino fighter has won four of his last five scraps.
