Lightweight contender Dante Jardon will face Nery Saguilan this Saturday night. Both lightweights weighed in at 134.9-pounds.

The 12 round bout will take place at the famed Arena Coliseo in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico. Televisa will broadcast the fight live throughout Mexico.

Jardon (29-5, 22 KOs), who resides in Mexico City, is ranked number two by the WBC.

Jardon-Saguilan (4)

In his last bout on March 26, Jardon won a 12 round unanimous decision over two-time junior lightweight world titleholder Juan Carlos Salgado. Jardon has won his last five bouts.

Jardon-Saguilan (3)

Saguilan (37-6-1, 13 KOs) lost a one-sided 12 round decision to Marcos Villasana Jr. in his last bout on May 28 in Acapulco, Mexico. The loss snapped a 10-bout winning streak for Saguilan.

Jardon-Saguilan (2)

Saguilan's most impressive win on his resume is a close 12 round decision over DeMarcus Corley in August of last year.

Also fighting on the Promociones Del Pueblo card, lightweight Shoki Sakai (21-5, 13 KOs), who has won his last four bouts, will square off against Luis Vidales Gutierrez (9-4, 5 KOs).

Both fighters reside in Mexico City.
