Miguel Barrionuevo and Azael Cosio both made weight for their welterweight eliminator bout Saturday evening in Ixtapa, Mexico.

Barrionuevo came in right at the 147 lb. welterweight limit, while Cosio checked in slightly lighter at 146.6 lbs.

This weekend will mark the first time either fighter has entered a title fight or sanctioned eliminator. The winner will face Sammy Vasquez, who is coming off of a 6th round stoppage of Aron Martinez one week ago in Los Angeles, California.

Their scheduled 12-round clash airs live on Televisa in Mexico and on TyC Sports in the United States and Argentina.

Nery "Pantera" Saguilan and Miguel "Micky" Roman have title fight aspirations of their own as they appear in separate bouts, both of which will air live on Televisa as part of the network's 'Sabados de Box' series.

Headlining the Sabados de Box portion of the show, Saguilan will face Leonardo Doronio in a scheduled 12-round regional lightweight title fight.

Saguilan came in just below the divisional limit at 134.9 lbs. in looking to extend his current nine-fight win streak. Doronio weighed 133.6 lbs.

Roman has won 15 straight since a 12-round loss to Dante Jardon in their Oct. '12 rematch. Included among that stretch is a knockout win over Donorio last August.

On Saturday, the resurgent lightweight contender faces Yogli Herrera. Both fighters weighed 134 lbs.
