Edgar Jimenez predicted a knockout win over Ivan Morales of Tijuana, in the co-featured fight of the "The Heat Is On!", taking place on Friday August 21 at the Plaza of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. The card is organized by Golden Boy's Oscar de la Hoya and Cancun Boxing's Pepe Gomez and the event will be produced by De La Hoya TV and broadcast by ESPN internationally.

After the weigh-in, Jimenez said he will seek the knockout of Ivan Morales, brother of world champion, Erik "Terrible" Morales. Ivan was 117.2-pounds and Jiminez came in at 118.3.

"I must win overwhelmingly, because if the fight reaches a decision they are going to give it to Ivan, because the name of Morales has a lot of weight and it will be used against me," said Morales.

The fight will be the co-feature to Ricardo "El Torito" Perez and Noah Medina, who will battle for the WBC's silver title. Perez came in at 106.9-pounds, while Medina was 107.1-pounds.
