José López and Jósean Figueroa were both on weight for their super bantamweight clash Saturday evening in Carolina, Puerto Rico.

López (15-0, 11KOs) came in at 122.8 lb. for his scheduled eight-round headliner with Figueroa (8-3-1, 7KOs), who tipped the scales at 121 lb.

The bout will air on Univision Puerto Rico, kicking off a newly created series from Miguel Cotto Promotions

Saturday's main event marks the first piece of ring action for Lopez since his wild brawl with Roberto Castañeda last August. Lopez - who turns 21 next month - survived a disastrous four-knockdown opening round to floor Castañeda three times en route to a unanimous decision.

The circumstances surrounding the ending are still under investigation, as ringside officials alleged to have been coerced by key members of the local commission.

Figueroa hasn't fought since a knockout loss to a then-unbeaten Jonathan Vidal in their Oct. '12 clash.
