The first boxing tournament of a newly created K2 Ukraine promotional group, led by Klitschko brothers and managed by general director Olexander Krasyuk, is set to go at Sport Palace of Odessa on the northern shores of the Black Sea. This show will be performed tomorrow (starting 7 PM LT), and today a weigh-in has been conducted for the majority of future participants.

1). WBA #6 and EBA heavyweight champion Alexander Ustinov (20-0, 16 KOs) weighed in at 298.5 for the initial defense of his title against Paolo Vidoz (26-8, 15 KOs), who tipped the scales at 269.

2). WBA #9 and EBA welterweight champion Victor Plotnikov (23-1, 11 KOs) will defend his regalia for the first time against Christian Bladt (35-10-2, 11 KOs). Plotnikov is 146, while Bladt has just got under the limit with 147.

3). WBO #8 junior middleweight Dmitry Nikulin (20-0, 7 KOs) – 156.5; George Dimoso (7-4-2, 5 KOs) – 153; eight rounds scheduled.

4). Andrey Rudenko (17-0, 10 KOs) – 249; Raymond Ochieng (22-11-3, 18 KOs) – 223.5; eight rounds scheduled.

5). Mamed Yadgarov (14-5, 8 KOs) – 124; John Gicharu (13-6-1, 6 KOs) – 123.5; eight rounds scheduled.

6). Valentyn Holovko (11-0, 6 KOs) – 138; Rustam Memetov (3-1) – 137.5; eight rounds scheduled.

7). Olexander Spirko (8-0, 4 KOs) – 150.5; Leontiy Vorontsuk (19-46-1, 6 KOs) – to weigh-in later; eight rounds scheduled.

8). Artem Ayvazidi (8-0, 3 KOs) – 142; Arvydas Trizno (4-2) – to weigh-in later; eight rounds scheduled.

9). Salambek Baysangurov (4-0, 2 KOs) – 178.5; Andrey Ageev (2-13, 1 KO) – 178.5; six rounds scheduled.

10). Oleksiy Bondarenko (4-0, 4 KOs) vs. Rakhim Mingaleev (27-62-1, 8 KOs) – four rounds at lightweight. Both participants will weigh-in later.

Alaudin Murtazaliev (11-2-1, 7 KOs) was forced to withdraw after suffering a broken hand in sparring session; his fight versus Olexander Chervyak being off. The live broadcast of Ustinov-Vidoz fight by Inter TV channel starts at 22:45 PM LT.
