Panama - The super bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Association, Panama's Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno, and the challenger Lorenzo "Lencho" Parra of Venezuela, made weight for Friday's battle at the Arena Roberto Duran. Both scored exactly the same, 118-pounds with no problem. In addition, they promised it would be a big fight, and both are in excellent condition.

Others had no problems with the weigh-in. WBA "regular" middleweight champion, Gennady Golovkin ,and his opponent Kassim Ouma, were on weight. The champ was 160 pounds, while Ouma was 158.

Johan Perez, and Panamanian Alberto "Machine Gun" Mosquera, who fight for the Fedelatin title at 140 pounds, met the weight requirement.

Irving "Lightning" Berry and Julio "Dinamita" Camano, scheduled for eight rounds, were 130 and 129 pounds, respectively.

Former world champion Vicente "El Loco" Mosquera, and Jose "El Indio" Miranda will fight for eight rounds at 147 pounds, and both made the exact weight.

In heavyweight fighting, Luis Pineda was 200 pounds while Cuban, Luis Ortiz, weighed 234 pounds. They fight for nine rounds.

The Venezuelan Pablo Vasquez will face Colombian Segundo Herrera, over eight rounds. Vasquez was 150 and Herrera was 149 pounds.
