Below are some final thoughts from the ShoBox fighters:

ANGELO SANTANA

“I feel good and my weight is great. I’m well prepared so I am not affected at all with the change in the opponent.

“I’m coming to fight and am very focused. I’m excited about Friday night and ready to make a great fight.’’

BAHA MAMADJONOV

“I had about two weeks notice for this fight but I stay ready. I’m always in the gym so I am 100 percent. This is my first fight against a left-hander but I’ve sparred with southpaws so I’ll be comfortable in there.

“I know I have to be aggressive and I know I have to vary my attack. I’m looking forward to an exciting fight.’’

AMIR IMAM

“I’ve had eight fights and my opponent has had 18 so this is a definite step up in class. He’s a smart, good fighter with throws awkward punches. I’m not taking him lightly and know I have to be careful.

“But I’ve had great sparring with guys as good as him so I’m ready and excited to put on a show on SHOWTIME. I definitely want to make an impression.

“I haven’t fought that many rounds as a pro but I spar eight and 10 rounds regularly so I am in great condition. I feel I can go hard at eight, 10 or 12 rounds.

“I’m not afraid of anybody in my division. I’ve been with Don King my whole career. I want to thank him for making this fight possible.’’

JEREMY BRYAN

“No matter what he does, I know I have to fight smart. I’m prepared for anything and ready to give my best.

“After I lost two straight fights, I took a long time off, but I learned a lot about myself during that time and came back more committed physically and mentally than ever.

“They call him the ‘Young Master,’ but I’m going to master him on Friday. He’s in my school now.’’
