Exclusive photos from Abel Sanchez’s Summit Gym in Big Bear, Calif. as former world title challenger Urbano Antillon (29-3, 21 KO’s) puts in some work with junior lightweight prospect Joel Diaz (12-0, 11 KO’s) and lightweight Alan Herrera (32-4, 21 KO’s).

Antillon was last seen on the big stage two years ago, as he was stopped in the 3rd round of an electrifying clash with then-WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios in Carson. One fight prior, Antillon engaged in an equally thrilling battle, losing a hotly-contested decision to then-WBC champion Humberto Soto.

Antillon has flown under the radar since those defeats, but it’s worth noting that he did return this past March in Hidalgo, Mexico to stop journeyman Leonardo Resendiz in two rounds.

Antillon is focused on his comeback, but insists he will be looking to make his run at 140 pounds.
