WBC super flyweight champion Tomas “Gusano” Rojas (36-12-1, 24KOs) and his team have already reached Suvarnabhumi Airport of Bangkok, Thailand for his next defense, which comes against #7 ranked Suriyan Sor Runvisai (18-5-1, 7KOs) on August 19th in Srisaket Province, Thailand.

Mr, Surachart Pisitwuttinan, promoter of this title match, went to receive them at airport. Mr. Surachart Pisitwuttinan of Nakornloung Promotion is one of the most famous WBC promoters in Thailand.

Back on July 25th, Mr Surachart held press conference at the Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel in Bangkok toofficially announce the fight in public.

Mr. Surachart revealed that “I’m very happy to have WBC’s big event in Thailand. This was very hard work for us to bring this fight to Thailand. The condition of Suriyan Sor Rungvisai is very good and he is well trained for this fight. I believe he will be the new world champion on August 19th.”

Mr. Surachart wants to make Suriyan become a great world champion like Veeraphol Sahaprom of Nakornloung Promotion.

At the airport Rojas told to Thai press that “I will knock Suriyan out within seven rounds. My weight has remained at only two pounds over and it’s very easy to make the limit in the hot weather of Thailand.”

The fight will be held at the Khunmuangsri Stadium in the Srisaket Province of Thailand on August 19th. There will be some non-title fights involving ABCO champions such as Napapol Sor Rungvisai (Napapol Kiatisakchokchai, super featherweight), Yodchanchai Nakornloung Promotion (bantamweight) and Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (Srisaket Sithsaithong, super flyweight) too.

The fights will be broadcast by Thailand TV channel 3 from 13:40 until 16:10 on August 19th. (Thailand time).
