Centro de Convenciones, Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico - Sergio "Yeyo" Thompson grabbed another victory by TKO, this time at 1:25 of the fifth round, over Nicaraguan Moses "Cobra" Castro. Thompson retains international silver super featherweight title of theWorld Boxing Council (WBC). Thompson increased his numbers to 30 wins with 28 knockouts and 2 defeats, while Castro added defeat number 20, with 29 wins, 4 draws and 13 knockouts.

Heavyweight Olympian Deontay Wilder (27-0, 27KOs) continued his streak of knockouts with a second round stoppage of veteran Matthew Greer (15-9, 13KOs).

Robinson "Robin" Castellanos (17-9, 11KOs) had a first round knockout of Edgar "Lupillo" Ramirez (13-6, 10KOs) to retain his silver featherweight world championship of the WBC. In the first round, a big left put Ramirez down. He beat the count, but later caught a hard left hook that put him away.

Super bantamweight prospect Ivan Morales (20-0, 13KOs) drilled Patricio Camacho (16-8-1, 13KOs) in the first round. Morales only needed 47 seconds to land a huge overhand right for the big knockout victory.
