CAROLINA, PUERTO RICO- Former two time world champion Giovani Segura arrived tonight in Puerto Rico, where this Saturday, August 17, he will fight against the undefeated Jonathan “Bomba” Gonzalez, headlining the show “Noche de Campeones DIRECTV” at the International Ballroom of El San Juan Resort and Casino in Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico, in a PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) presentation, in association with Top Rank to be broadcast on DIRECTV.

Segura (29-3-1, 25 KOs), who reigned at the junior flyweight division by the WBA and WBO, will face Bomba Gonzalez (13-0, 11 KOs) for the WBO Latino flyweight title in a bout scheduled to 10 rounds.

Tomorrow, at 1:00 p.m., Segura is going to train at the Felix Pagan Pintor Gym in Guaynabo, where Ivan “Iron Boy” Calderon is the Administrator. Segura has two wins over Calderon, a former titlist in 105 and 108 pounds.
