Undefeated knockout artist Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is training for his March 5 clash with Matthew Hatton, taking place in California and televised by American network HBO. While training for the fight with Hatton, Alvarez breaks away from camp to put on his promoter's hat and took part in a press conference to announce the next show being put together by his company, Canelo Promotions. 

The card takes place on February 19 at the Disco "Collage" of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Alvarez was accompanied by his management, Edison and Chepo Reynoso, who are partners in the company. They announced the main event that is going to feature Tomoki "Little Mexican" Kameda. He will face Germain Meraz over twelve rounds for the vacant North American [NABF] bantamweight title. Also in action will be Oscar Cortés, José "Pocholo" Osorio, Ivan "Hurricane" Smith, William "Chiquita" Gonzalez and Emmanuel Osuna.
