With waves from the Gulf of Mexico decorating the scene, Oscar De la Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions, and owner of Canelo Promotions, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez Promotions, formally announed the next event to be held on December 4 at the ballpark "Beto Ávila" in Veracruz, Mexico.

Canelo said was convinced to have chosen the best option for his fight with Lovemore N'dou as the opponent.

"We wanted to come here and share a good fight with everyone, so that everyone has an enjoyable time and has an excuse to be happy," Alvarez said, referring to the Juanacatlán contingency in Veracruz who still live there in the wake of Hurricane Karl.

De La Hoya, echoed the same argument and the two announced that most of the tickets will be distributed free of charge.

When asked about his rival, Alvarez said - "I consider him strong, seasoned and he has power in his punch, but we're ready, we have been preparing better and better with each passing fight based on the degree of difficulty."

De La Hoya finally invited everyone in Veracruz to join the great feast, which means the international boxing function.

"We will have a great night, thinking of you all and the great road ahead for Canelo," De La Hoya said.

The supporting card for this feature fight will be released next week.
