Interim WBA junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux was spotted at the Tapout gym on the West side of Las Vegas, Nevada. In what will serve as one of the final days of camp for the ultra-confident Cuban, Rigondeaux worked out under the eye of his new trainer Ismael Salas in anticipation of his clash this Friday night at the nearby Palms Casino against the WBA’s full champion Rico Ramos.

The Showtime-televised contest serves as an interesting clash of styles and it’s worth note that Ramos has also been preparing in Las Vegas at the Mayweather Boxing Club just up the street from Rigondeaux, who arrived to the city on Sunday night.

Rigondeaux-Ramos is a clash that has been long overdue, as it has been rescheduled three times already, and if he can emerge successful, Rigondeaux will be in line for a great championship run this year.
