Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas - Featherweight Ray Ximenez (17-1, 4 KOs) pulled out a win in the headline bout of a Roy Jones Boxing card, with a tough eight round unanimous decision over late replacement Eugene Lagos (12-4-2, 7 KOs), who replaced John Vincente Moralde.

Ximenez showed off the better boxing skills, but Lagos was tough and kept coming, and throwing, all fight long. Lagos was hit with some solid shots, but walked through almost all of them as Ximenez is not a puncher with only 4 knockouts in 18 fights.

Other than suffering a cut over his left eye, Ximenez had few issues in the contest. The scores were 78-74, 78-74 and 79-73.

Featherweight prospect Edward Vazquez (5-0) got off the floor in the fourth round to win a six round unanimous decision over Brandon Arvie (2-1, 2 KOs).

Super bantamweight Dominque Griffin (2-0, 1 KO) worked over David Alfaro (1-1) on pace to a four round unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 40-36.

The event opened up with super welterweight prospect Jarvis Shepard (5-0-1, 5 KOs) crushing Christopher Turton (1-7) with heavy punches to secure a first round stoppage that ended as quickly as it began.
