May 5th is a huge day for boxing in Erfurt: Besides the rematch for the WBO world cruiserweight championship between Marco "Captain" Huck (34-2, 25 KOs) and Ola Afolabi (19-2-3 , 9 KOs), fans can also look forward to two exciting title duels. In the super-middleweight clash WBO champion Robert Stieglitz (41-2, 23 KOs) will defend his title - and a big heavyweight clash for the vacant European crown between Kubrat Pulev (15-0, 7 KOs) and Alexander Dimitrenko (32-1, 21 KOs).

"The fight against Alexander Dimitrenko is the hardest of my career," said 30-year-old Pulev, the protégé of coach Otto Ramin. "First I want to be European champion, then I want to fight against one of the Klitschko brothers. But right now, for me, there is only the European championship in Erfurt. I do not care what others say. I'm taking it one step at a time."

Also in the gym training hard, is tall and tough heavyweight David Price (12-0, 10KOs), who is preparing for his upcoming clash with Sam Sexton (15-2, 6KOs) for the vacant British title on May 19th in Liverpool.
