Heavyweight contender Alexander Povetkin (26-1, 18KOs) took part in a press conference in Moscow, Russia with promoter Andrei Ryabinsky, who staged last Saturday's big card that saw Povetkin lose a twelve round decision to IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko. Ryabinsky is going to pursue a Klitschko rematch for Povetkin, who wants a second chance to get the titles. The fight had a lot of critics when it was over, with many unhappy that Klitschko was clinching and using rough tactics during the fight.

"I am the last to believe that I couldn't win. I gave 100%. I lost the battle, but I didn't lose the war. And I'm ready for a new fight with Klitschko, as soon as he agrees to this fight," Povetkin said.
