Three-time world champion in two division Orlando “Siri” Salido arrive in Los Angeles today for his battle against WBC Super featherweight champion Francisco “Bandido” Vargas next Saturday, June 4 at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Vargas  (23-0-1, 17 KOs) of Mexico City will be making the first defense of the title against Salido (43-13-3, 30 KOs, 1 NC) in the main event of a card promoted by Golden Boy Promotions that will telecast HBO “Boxing After Dark”.

Salido arrived with his team Santos Moreno, Victor Barron, Dr. Eduardo Covarrubias, Jose Manuel Miranda, Armando Castro and Joel Luna and was greeted by his manager Sean Gibbons and Hector Zapari, trainer of WBO champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez.
