Berchelt (33-1-0, 29 KO's) will defend his title against the experienced Argentine, former world champion Jonathan Víctor Barros (41-5-1, 22 KO's), on Saturday the 23rd at the Poliforum Zamná in Mérida, Yucatán.

The event will be promoted by Fernando Beltran of Zanfer and Max Boxing by Mario Abraham. And the card will be transmitted in all of Mexico by Azteca 7 and in the United States by ESPN.

On Wednesday, Berhcelt met with the press in the Caballero Boxing Club of Hermosillo with his coach Alfredo Caballero, and he put in four rapid rounds of work through various drills.
