On Wednesday afternoon, inside of the Long Life Fit Gym in Las Vegas, the participants for this weekend’s Showtime tripleheader could be found hosting the media ahead of their assignments this Saturday night at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
In the evening’s main event, interim WBC junior welterweight titlist Lucas Matthysse (32-2, 30 KO’s) looks to build on his recent four-fight win streak as he meets the Virgil Hunter-trained Mike Dallas Jr. (19-2-1, 8 KO’s).
In the chief support bout, Turkish brute Selcuk Aydin (23-1, 17 KO’s) looks to bounce back from his unanimous decision loss to Robert Guerrero as he tangles with battle-tested veteran Jesus Soto Karass (26-8-3, 17 KO’s).
Rounding out the televised action, junior middleweight prospect Jermell Charlo (19-0, 9 KO’s) faces once-beaten Harry Joe Yorgey (25-1-1, 12 KO’s).
